Kate Chengappa, SSW

Intuitive Clairvoyant & Spiritual Guide - LIT Inner Therapy

Kate Chengappa is an intuitive clairvoyant who walks between worlds, channeling messages of light, healing, and divine guidance. As the co-owner of LIT, Kate offers individual sessions to help others speak to those on the other side. From an early age, she felt deeply connected to Spirit and the unseen realms, sensing the subtle energies that weave through all of life.

In each session, Kate tunes into your energy field and opens herself as a clear channel for Spirit, those passed, your guides, and higher self to share the messages meant for you. She works with visions, symbols, and energetic impressions, offering clarity where confusion lingers and shining light on the hidden threads of your journey. Her presence is grounding yet mystical, creating a sacred space where transformation unfolds naturally.

Clients are often drawn to Kate when they are at a crossroads, seeking deeper understanding of their relationships, purpose, or spiritual path.

Derek Nutter, CSW (He/Him)

LIT Inner Therapy

Derek Nutter, CSW, is an associate therapist whose path to this work is anything but conventional. After more than fifteen years in operations and product management, he made a purposeful move into mental health, bringing a grounded, real-world perspective to how he shows up for every client. He holds degrees from the University of Utah and The Ohio State University, where his Master of Social Work training centered on mental health and co-occurring substance use.

Derek's approach is multifaceted. He works with clients to recognize and soften the grip of unhelpful thoughts, reconnect with what truly matters to them, and use the breath and body as steady allies in the work.

He supports adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, career change, and trauma. His style is collaborative, non-judgmental, and client-centered, grounded in the belief that real healing happens when people are met with honesty, curiosity, and care.

As he builds his post-graduate practice, Derek has been deliberate about how he grows as a clinician. Rather than settling into a single model early, he has intentionally structured his supervision to learn from and observe several experienced clinicians who each work differently; widening his scope of practice so he can meet each client with the approach that genuinely fits them.

Therapy has been a life-changing part of Derek's own journey, and that experience is at the heart of his passion for this work. Outside the office, he's happiest outdoors hiking in the sun! He is a longtime yoga practitioner, an unapologetic fan of Utah's national parks, and an avid traveler who loves stepping into new places, cultures, and conversations. He shares his life with his wife, Aubrie, and the animals they love.

Carl Bowcut

Owner of Cereset of Orem

Carl is the franchise owner of Cereset of Orem. Cereset uses a safe and non-invasive approach to record the “echo” of your brain’s real-time dominant frequency. Cereset’s technology uses acoustic stimulation to translate that frequency into its equivalent pitch and note that you can hear.

When the dominant frequency is low, then the notes you hear will be low in pitch. If the dominant frequency is higher, then the note that you hear will be higher in pitch. The frequency and notes you hear act as a “mirror” for your brain to see itself and begin restoring its natural ability to correct any of its imbalances.

Cereset has improved the emotional, mental health of scores of people in the state of Utah and beyond. Carl welcomes all to try out the incredible things this technology has to offer.
